I would like to
install the Diving Concepts Snap-OnTM Dryglove Kit with an inner latex seal. |
- When diving without an inner latex seal, air can flow into your hand from your
drysuit and warm your hands. Also, you will not feel strong hand squeeze at depth (e.g. > 100 feet). However,
if you puncture your dryglove, water can enter your drysuit.
-
When diving with an inner latex seal if you puncture your glove water will not pass beyond your
latex seal and
into your drysuit. However, you will feel glove squeeze with depth and below 100 feet the glove squeeze may become
uncomfortable. Some divers have placed non-collapsible rubber tubing or partially cut plastic pens in between
the seal and their wrists. this can allow airflow and can be slid inside the suit in the event of glove puncture.
With either configuration, the Diving Concepts Snap-OnTM Dryglove Kit can be installed and
removed from your latex wrist seals. Latex seals have no memory, so they will not be stretched out
should you decide to use them as regular latex wrist seals at a later date.
